Get ready to explore, learn, and sweat a little on the Sizzling Summer Scramble on Saturday August 30, 9-11am!  This guided summer nature walk along the scenic Copperhead Trail in Silver Spring’s Northwest Branch area is perfect for curious minds of all ages looking to connect with the wild side of Maryland.

We’ll trek under the canopy of towering hardwoods, scramble over rocky outcrops, and follow the winding stream as we discover the hidden wonders of the trail. Along the way, our Senior Nature Educator Gina Ghertner will share fascinating facts about local wildlife, native plants, geology, and the unique ecosystem of the Northwest Branch gorge.
