In April 2025, Springsong staff and a volunteer archivist visited the National Conservation Training Center to document and research Rachel Carson artifacts.

Rebecca Henson spoke at the annual meeting of the American Society of Environmental History on a panel entitled Rachel Carson Revisited. She was joined by renowned author Janice Nimura, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service national historian Mark Madison, and Rachel Carson Council President Bob Musil.

Springsong Museum has been featured in a series of articles published in Pathways, a community magazine with a distribution of 15,000 copies. Even when our forests are mostly browns and grays, there is drama in their starkness, allowing us to see more clearly the resident and visiting birds, the architecture of trees, the stunning red of the native winterberries, made all the brighter alongside the neutral tones of our winter landscape.
