Springsong Museum will be at KID Museum's Invent the Future Expo! This event invites students, families, educators, community members and leaders to the KID Museum plaza for a day of innovation and discovery. Our table will encourage visitors to use microscopes to examine ecological materials found along the Northwest Branch of the Anacostia River (and future museum site) including mica - the mineral that gives Silver Spring its name - garnets, coalified wood, and more!
